The TruBend 3000 Series
Simple to operate, rugged, and reliable best describes the new TruBend Series 3000 of press brakes from TRUMPF. The multi-touch-control and the space-saving design are the predominant features. The back gauges can move across the entire bending length removing any restrictions. Automatic crowning ensures consistent angles. In addition, the high axis speeds make this machine the fastest in its class.
The latest models to be introduced are the TruBend 3066, (72 ton x 82" Bed Length), TruBend 3100, (110 ton x 120" Bend Length) and TruBend 3170, (187 ton x 167" Bend Length). Standard equipment includes a two-axis back gauge which may, as an option, be expanded to a four- or five-axis back gauge. This makes it possible to position sheet metal securely, even where complex part geometries are involved.
Simple & Intuitive
Thanks to its modest investment costs, the TruBend 3000 series is well suited to those new to manual bending. The operating concept is simple and intuitive. The machine's operator can sketch components and program them graphically at a large display with modern multi-touch control. The exact bending parameters are calculated by the control circuits, based on TRUMPF technology data. 3D visualization further simplifies the work and examines the design for potential collisions. If suitable bending programs already exist, they can be imported either via a USB interface or a network connection.
Even third-party tools can be used without an adapter. The customer can select from a number of different tool clamping concepts. Manual clamping is standard. Here the upper and lower tools are secured with Allen screws. The quick clamp option reduces set-up times, as the upper tools are rapidly clamped with a lever. The swiftest option for set-up is automatic hydraulic clamping. In addition, all the clamping systems automatically centers the tool, which can be inserted vertically. Both these features reduce clamping times.
Closed Machine Frame
The robust machine body consists of a welding construction made of a machine table, two side parts and two parallel upper cross-connections. The entire bending length of the machine can be used without limitations. Because of its compact construction, the machine has a very small space requirement.
Synthetic Hydraulic Oil
The machine is delivered with a full oil tank. This high-quality oil has a service life of ten years, making oil changes under normal conditions unnecessary.
Hydraulic & Self-Regulating Crowning System
The crowning facility compensates the bowing of the press beam and the press table during the bending process and in doing so, ensures a constant bending angle along the entire bending length. The setting of the crowning facility is done automatically under load through crowning slots and through, in the table integrated, CNC-controlled hydraulic cylinders.
T3500T Multi-Touch Control
User-friendly 17" multi-touch control with integrated tool data base and USB interface. The infrared-touch-technology enables operation with gloves. CNC bending programs can be numerically or graphically generated at the control. With graphic programming, the bending sequence and all of the bending parameters are calculated, based on a graphically generated product drawing. Programs programmed using TruTops Bend can be loaded easily at the control. Thanks to the adjustable support arm, the control panel can easily be set to the needs of the operator.
BendGuard Safety System
The BendGuard is an optoelectronic safety device which makes quick and safe bending possible. The maximum Y rapid traverse speed is permitted without restriction with foot operation alone. Simple and quick setting of the tool height using a scale with counterweigh. The BendGuard can just be pushed back for lateral tool setup operations and does not need to be adjusted again afterwards. The BendGuard is not sensitive when it comes to bumps and external impact (misalignment) because its electronics are separated from its housing.
OCB - Operator Controlled Bending Option
A digital angle measuring device with wireless Bluetooth connection to the machine control. The measured bending angles are transmitted at the push of a button to the machine control and the angle correction is automatically applied in the bending program. Increased user-friendliness and productivity because the walking distance and data entry work is reduced.
