The new TruBend 5000 Series combine innovation with TRUMPF precision to reduce cycle times by up to 30 percent. The newly designed pressure cylinders allow more working space while optimally transferring the press force. This results in perfect conditions for processing unusually large or thick sheets, or long bends with tight angles.

In the new design of the TruBend 5000 Series, thermal load on the machine frame is virtually eliminated from guaranteeing premium work piece quality from the first to the last bending operation. A space-saving roller cover has replaced the doors of the TruBend Series, enabling unlimited access to the machine area and offering a smaller footprint while providing useful storage areas. These additions to TRUMPF press brake technology offer more efficient bending, versatility, and increased flexibility in production.

The highlights of the TruBend 5000 Series:

Models ranging from 55 to 350 Tons

4-cylinder instead of 2-cylinder technology: double the accuracy through the uniform distribution of pressure over the entire length of the ram.

New drives reduce the cycle times by up to 30%: Rapid-up and rapid-down at 520 ipm.

Hydraulic pressure of merely 300 bar- less strain on all components, increased service life.

A 2-, 4-, 5- or 6- axes back gauge is available customized to meet your special requirements.

Angle sensor ACB (Automatically Controlled Bending)- the shortest way to the right angle.

Part collision preview and control due to the graphic simulation on the control.

Touch screen control with automatic "Tooltip" (as soon as one field has been pressed, the control automatically fades in an explanation).

Numerous options for handling material (support consoles, bending aids, bed extensions...) are available.

Hemming without tool change with CNC I-axis: The bottom die can be program-controlled and displaced.

Large machine with low space requirement: the rear protective cover is designed as a rolling door.
